Killzone 3: A Multiplayer Hit, That Misses the Single Player Mark

As I sit and reflect upon this title, I also remember the time leading up to its release. I had played the multiplayer at PAX '10 here in Seattle and was blown away by the tight controls, beautiful graphics, implementation of vehicles, and the pure fun of the experience. The developers at Insomniac Games have released some very early in-game footage of what seems to be an another amazing installment to the Resistance franchise. I have loved everything about the Fight Night series since it's inception. EA is looking to stir things up this time around with a mature rating and the addition of "Champion Mode". A brand new trailer has launched describing an emotional resistance to an overwhelming Helghast Army on their planet. It seems to pick up right where Killzone 2 left off. Crysis 2 has a lot riding on it's head, especially since it's a multiplatform sequel to a PC based franchise.
