Twisted Pixel is at it again, bringing more ‘Splosion fun to the fans, this time in the form of Ms. ‘Splosion Man. Does this title have what it takes to stand alone, or is it simply ‘Splosion Man Redux? Keep reading to find out more.
For anyone that was/is a fan of ‘Splosion Man, Ms. ‘Splosion Man is going to be a must have. They have taken the best of ‘Splosion man and made it even better. New gameplay elements stacked with another amazing soundtrack are going to make this game a hit. Chainsaw has been at it again, working his magic in the recording studio to bring some brand new songs to this upcoming XBLA title. One of the highlight songs in this new title is “The Mandy Song.” I don’t want to spoil anything, but I will tell you this should rival the “Doughnut Song,” it is amazing!
Gameplay is very similar the the first ‘Splosion Man, but with a few new twists. For one, you are not stuck in the lab this time. You will venture between lab and the outside world to add a bit more spice and freedom. They have also implemented some new “zip line” devices that help you progress over would-be pit falls, a nice touch. With tons of new content, I can’t wait to get my hands on the final product. At this point Twisted Pixel has NOT released a ship date, and told us it would be ready when it is ready. I really hate that answer! Nevertheless, we are waiting with baited breath for announcement.
