Podcaster?

Well you may have guessed it, Podcaster is not a game. Podcaster is a podcast feed aggregator, but why would ConsoleLink write about this? We do have a podcast with a great cast and we want to make sure you can listen every which way possible. That being said, I will give the you run down of this great app.

As a Podcaster user since the Cydia days I know it has come a long way. This app does exactly what the name implies and does it very well. No need to sync with iTunes to get your podcast on your device. All over-the-air as many of us prefer.

• No limit on download sizes. iTunes.app has a 20mb cap over 3g
• It refreshes your feeds within the app so it knows when a new episode is out.

• Push notifications
• Custom Playlists
• Lock screen controls
• Plays in the Background
• Skip forward 10 seconds button to get through audio ads
• Headphone remote support

Version 3.6 has brought many features and is the polish this app needs. This app has may great features and many that I have not covered. Best thing to do is dig into the app and get to know it.

• I cant complain about this app.  It has come a long way since 1.0 and for the price you cant go wrong.

This app is currently running $1.99 and is well worth the money. Many apps have tried to be the next Podcaster but all have failed and in my opinion even Apple can't compete in this category.
